Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect and Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale data platform initiatives on Azure. The role combines architectural design, governance, and delivery leadership across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and ADF environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the enterprise data architecture strategy using Fabric, Databricks, and Azure core services.
- Lead multi-phase implementation across ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
- Oversee Lakehouse design, semantic modeling, and gold layer development.
- Manage project planning, Agile delivery, and stakeholder communications.
- Implement DevOps automation, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
- Mentor data engineers, enforce standards, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Integrate security, compliance, and data governance practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 14+ years in data architecture, engineering, or analytics delivery.
- Expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, ADF, ADLS, and Power BI.
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures.
- Optional: Familiarity with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker, Pub/Sub) for hybrid integration.
Preferred Certifications:
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Databricks Certified Data Architect Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Optional:Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer
