As a Associate Program Manager in Pune, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world's payments ecosystem!

JOB PURPOSE

The Associate Program Manager organizes and coordinates customer-facing or internal programs in alignment with ACI's project management methodology. This role supports the successful delivery of programs related to Disaster Recovery, Compliance, Risk, or Governance, ensuring business objectives are aligned with technology solutions. The Junior Program Manager works closely with cross-functional teams and project managers, provides structured program oversight, and promotes ACI's culture while ensuring programs deliver desired business outcomes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Oversight & Delivery

  • Support and oversee programs related to Disaster Recovery, Compliance, Risk, or Governance
  • Assist in managing program scope to ensure deliverables align with approved charters and stakeholder expectations
  • Participate in program execution while monitoring progress, milestones, and dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Support planning and direction of schedules, resources, and budgets/spend

Risk, Issue & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify, track, and support resolution of program-level risks and issues (technical and non-technical) in accordance with ACI project management methodology
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately and support mitigation planning
  • Partner with internal teams and customers to build strong, collaborative program teams
  • Support negotiations related to resource constraints and scheduling challenges
  • Ensure alignment and consensus across stakeholders, project managers, and functional teams

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and maintain program-level dashboards, including status reports, risk dashboards, and Gantt charts
  • Support and participate in program update meetings and stakeholder communications
  • Ensure stakeholders and management are informed of program progress, risks, and key decisions
  • Assist in tracking deadlines, budgets, and program activities across inter-connected projects

Compliance & Corporate Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of program and organizational objectives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 4-6 years of project management experience, with some exposure to managing or supporting programs
  • Understanding of project and program management methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with teams across multiple disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project and program reporting tools
  • PMI certification (or actively working toward certification) or approved equivalent
  • Experience supporting governance, compliance, risk, or disaster recovery initiatives

  • Standard office work environment (Hybrid model)
  • Majority of time spent working on a PC
  • Travel may be required (domestic and/or international)
