Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Professor specializing in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, based in Dehradun. The role entails developing and delivering academic content for musculoskeletal physiotherapy courses, supervising clinical training sessions, guiding students in research and practical applications, and mentoring students in their academic growth. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development and participating in departmental and institutional activities to ensure a high standard of education and training.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, including clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and advanced therapeutic techniques.
  • Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and academic administration, with a passion for mentoring and guiding students.
  • Proficiency in conducting and supervising research in Physiotherapy and related disciplines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall development of the department and institution.
  • Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Musculoskeletal (Ortho) specialisation.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant or Associate Professor in a recognized institution is desirable.
  • Commitment to staying updated with advancements in Physiotherapy techniques and education methodologies.
