Position Overview
The University invites applications from highly qualified, motivated, and research-oriented candidates for the post of Professor / Associate Professor of Psychology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, and contributing to academic administration in alignment with UGC norms and university policies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in CSE and allied areas as per curriculum requirements.
- Design, update, and deliver course content in accordance with UGC/NEP guidelines.
- Guide and supervise research scholars at the /Ph.D. level.
- Publish quality research papers in UGC Carelisted / Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals.
- Actively participate in academic planning, syllabus framing, BOS/academic committees, and university governance.
- Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, FDPs, and extension activities.
- Mentor students for academic growth, research aptitude, and career development.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities as assigned by the University from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Norms)
For Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE)from a recognized university (mandatory).
- UGC NET qualified (or exempted as per UGC regulations).
- Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution.
- Evidence of published work and research guidance as per UGC norms.
For Professor
- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from a recognized university (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of teaching and/or research experience, of which at least 3 years at the level of Associate Professor.
- Significant academic contributions, including research publications, books, research projects, and Ph.D. guidance.
- Fulfilment of UGC-prescribed eligibility and research score criteria.
