The Senior AI Faculty – Design & Business Programs will lead the integration of Artificial Intelligence across design and business education, combining teaching excellence with curriculum design, academic strategy, and institutional leadership.
This role goes beyond classroom delivery to shape how AI is taught, applied, and embedded across programmes, ensuring students graduate with creative capability, business acumen, and critical human judgment.
The position plays a key role in building Pearl Academy's AI Studio ecosystem, aligning with the philosophy of Augmented Intelligence: Human Intelligence strengthened by Artificial Intelligence.

1. Key Responsibilities
A. Teaching & Learning Leadership
- Deliver advanced and interdisciplinary AI courses across design and business:
- Generative AI for Design & Innovation
- AI for Business Strategy & Decision-Making
- Automation, Agents, and Applied AI Systems
- Multimodal AI (text, image, video, 3D)
- AI Ethics, Governance, and Responsible Innovation
- Lead studio-based and project-based learning environments
- Demonstrate real-world applications across:
- Design workflows: research ideation prototyping storytelling
- Business systems: analytics, automation, operations, strategy
- Mentor students on high-quality capstones, portfolios, and live industry projects
B. Curriculum Design & Development (Core to Role)
- Design and continuously evolve AI curriculum across UG & PG programs
- Develop:
- Course structures, learning outcomes, and assessment frameworks
- Studio formats, bootcamps, and interdisciplinary modules
- AI-integrated assignments and real-world problem statements
- Ensure curriculum is:
- Context-led, not tool-led
- Aligned with industry needs and future skills
- Integrated across design, business, and emerging technologies
- Build progressive learning pathways:
- Foundation Application Integration Innovation
C. Strategy & Institutional Development
- Contribute to the AI Studio vision and roadmap across campuses
- Define how AI integrates into:
- Core curriculum (80% domain)
- Life Design Studio and Runway ecosystem
- Identify emerging trends and translate them into:
- New courses
- Faculty training modules
- Student learning experiences
- Support leadership in:
- Academic planning and expansion of AI offerings
- Partnerships with industry and technology platforms

D. Faculty Enablement & Cross-Campus Alignment
- Train and mentor faculty across campuses on AI integration
- Develop teaching playbooks, toolkits, and best practices
- Ensure consistency and quality of delivery across programs
E. Industry & Academic Integration
- Bring real-world industry use cases into the classroom
- Build collaborations with:
- Industry practitioners
- AI platforms and startups
- Creative and business ecosystems
- Guide interdisciplinary student projects with real-world impact
F. Assessment & Academic Governance
- Design robust assessment systems:
- CIA / ESE frameworks
- Project-based evaluations
- Portfolio and application-based assessment
- Ensure academic rigor, transparency, and documentation
- Participate in audits, reviews, and accreditation processes
2. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (preferred) in:
- Design / Digital Arts / Multimedia
- Business / Management / Analytics
- Computer Applications / Information Systems
- Or interdisciplinary AI-related domains
- 6–12 years of experience in:
- Teaching, curriculum design, or academic leadership
- OR industry roles in AI, creative technology, analytics, or digital transformation
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Applying AI in real-world contexts
- Designing or leading learning experiences
3. Preferred Experience
- Experience building or leading AI-integrated curriculum or programs
- Strong exposure to both:
- Design AI tools: Midjourney, RunwayML, Firefly, 3D AI tools
- Business AI tools: SQL, analytics platforms, automation tools, chatbot systems
- Experience with:
- Interdisciplinary teaching (design + business + tech)
- Faculty training or academic leadership roles
- Understanding of:
- AI ethics, governance, and responsible AI frameworks
- Emerging trends in generative AI and automation
