Overview:
At WeWork, product sits at the intersection of physical spaces and digital experiences. Our platforms power how thousands of members discover, access, and experience workspaces every day-while enabling our internal teams to operate efficiently at scale. We're looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) who is curious, structured in their thinking, and excited to solve real-world problems using data, technology, and user insights. You will own well-defined product problems end-to-end and work closely with experienced product leaders to build impactful products.
As an APM, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to drive the development and improvement of our products. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is excited to learn how products are built, scaled, and improved using data and customer insights.
As part of this role, you will also contribute to AI/ML-driven initiatives within the product portfolio, helping identify opportunities where automation, intelligence, and data can enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
You will contribute to product discovery, requirement documentation, feature development, testing, and post-launch analysis while gaining hands-on experience across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
Work with Product leaders to identify high-impact problems across member experience and internal operations.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new features or improvements
Analyze product data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Work on identification of use cases where AI/ML can drive better decision-making, automation, or personalization
Product Development
Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch
Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Business teams to document product requirements including PRDs, user stories, and workflows
Drive execution with engineering and design teams through sprint cycles
Ensure high-quality releases through testing, validation, and UAT
Track key product metrics and help measure feature performance after launch
Customer Focus
Gather and synthesize customer feedback from various channels to identify product improvements
Assist in validating product concepts through user feedback and usability testing
Advocate for user-centric thinking when building product features
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations
Collaborate with ML and data teams on features includes AI/ML-driven components
Communicate product updates, progress, and insights to internal stakeholders
Support internal teams by documenting and explaining new product features and workflows
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Product Design, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in Product Management, consulting, startups, or product-focused internships
Foundational exposure to AI/ML concepts & tools (e.g. writing efficient prompts, recommendation systems, LLMs) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable product improvements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of digital product development (web/mobile products, API, backend/frontend concepts)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
