Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 HANA OrdertoCash OTC Architect with deep expertise in SAP BRIM Billing and Revenue Innovation Management to lead the design and implementation of subscriptionbased billing and revenue management solutions for a largescale multicountry SAP S4 HANA transformation program
This is a contractorcontingent staff position for a global enterprise undergoing a complex ERP modernization initiative spanning multiple geographies and business units

Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design Leadership
Lead the endtoend architecture design for SAP BRIM solution covering Subscription Order Management SOM Convergent Invoicing CI Convergent Charging CC Convergent Mediation CM and Revenue Accounting Reporting RAR
Define integration architecture between BRIM modules and other SAP components FICA FI CO SD and external systems
Design data models and process flows for subscriptionbased billing usagebased billing and revenue recognition
Create Key Design Decisions KDDs and Architecture Decision Records ADRs for governance and approval
Ensure alignment to SAP Clean Core principles no custom code leverage standard APIs BTP extensions and BRFplus for business rules
Solution Design
Design Subscription Order Management SOM architecture for multicountry multicurrency subscription contracts with varying billing cycles
Architect Convergent Invoicing CI solution for aggregating billable items from multiple sources and generating invoices
Design Convergent Charging CC for usagebased billing scenarios including rating pricing and charge plan configuration
Architect Revenue Accounting Reporting RAR solution to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
Design FICA Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable integration for subscription billing and collections
Define Order Distribution Infrastructure ODI strategy for seamless data flow across BRIM modules
Integration Extensibility
Design integration architecture using SAP CPI Cloud Platform Integration for connecting BRIM with CRM ERP and external systems
Define APIfirst integration approach leveraging standard SAP APIs and OData services
Design BTP Business Technology Platform sidebyside extensions for custom requirements without modifying core
Architect eventdriven integration patterns for realtime data synchronization
Data Migration Cutover
Define data migration strategy for converting legacy billing data to S4 HANA BRIM
Design ODIbased data load approach to ensure consistency across SOM CI CC and RAR
Create data validation framework and reconciliation strategy for migrated contracts and billing data
Lead cutover planning and mock cutover rehearsals for BRIM golive
Governance Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business stakeholders Billing Revenue Controllers Finance Sales Operations to gather requirements and validate designs
Work with other architects Finance P2P Integration Data Security to ensure endtoend solution coherence
Present architecture designs to Design Authority and Steering Committee for approval
Conduct fitgap analysis and recommend fittostandard vs custom development decisions
Lead architecture review sessions and provide guidance to development teams
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of BRIM functional consultants and developers
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create architecture documentation
Provide technical guidance during build test and deployment phases
Support hypercare and stabilization post golive
Mandatory Qualifications
BRIM Expertise NonNegotiable
Minimum 5 years of handson experience with SAP BRIM Billing and Revenue Innovation Management
Proven experience architecting and implementing at least 2 full lifecycle S4 HANA BRIM projects not just ECC SD
Deep expertise in the following BRIM modules
Subscription Order Management SOM product modeling provider contracts business partner setup
Convergent Invoicing CI billable item aggregation invoice generation FICA integration
Revenue Accounting Reporting RAR IFRS 15ASC 606 compliance performance obligations SSP allocation
Convergent Charging CC rating charge plans pricing rules preferred but not mandatory
Convergent Mediation CM usage data ingestion and mediation preferred but not mandatory
Strong understanding of Order Distribution Infrastructure ODI and how it orchestrates data flow across BRIM modules
Handson experience with FICA Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable for subscri
