Associate Principal - Architecture

Role Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Core Experience Cloud Architect Lead to design and deliver scalable secure and highperformance digital experiences on Salesforce The role will own endtoend portal architecture across Experience Cloud and Salesforce core capabilities SalesService including security model data design integrations UX patterns performance and governance

The ideal candidate has strong handson experience with Experience Cloud implementations CustomerPartner portals Lightning LWC identitySSO and integration patterns with enterprise systems

Key Responsibilities

1 Experience Cloud Solution Architecture

Own architecture for Experience Cloud sites CustomerPartner portals selfservice communities knowledge portals

Define portal structure information architecture navigation templates LWRAura branding and page composition

Design reusable component strategy using LWC SLDS design tokens and theming best practices

Establish standards for content personalization search and audience targeting

2 Salesforce Core Architecture Salesforce Platform SalesService Cloud

Architect core data model and business processes that power portal experiences

Accounts Contacts Users Cases Assets Orders as applicable

Entitlements Knowledge OmniChannel if used

Define automation strategy Flowfirst plus Apex where needed async patterns QueueableBatch

Ensure platform design aligns with Salesforce best practices and enterprise architecture standards

3 Security Identity Access Critical for Portals

Design portal security model

External user licensing strategy CustomerPartner

Sharing OWD role hierarchy sharing sets sharing rules criteriabased sharing

Permission setsgroups profiles strategy for external users

Own identity design

SSO SAMLOAuth MFA2FA delegated authentication if relevant

Login flows registration selfregistration password policies

Ensure compliance controls PII handling audit trails data classification retention

4 Integrations API Strategy

Define integration architecture for portal scenarios

ERPOMS billing identity provider knowledge marketing document management payment if any

Choose appropriate integration patterns

RESTSOAP APIs Platform Events Change Data Capture CDC middleware MuleSoft preferred

Define error handling retries observability monitoring and reconciliation processes

Support API governance versioning and performance SLAs

5 UX Performance and Scalability

Partner with UXUI teams to ensure intuitive user journeys and accessibility

Ensure performance for hightraffic portals

caching strategy query optimization component performance search performance

Define NFRs availability latency peak concurrency data volume handling

Drive performance testing and tuning for page load search and key user flows

6 Delivery Leadership Governance

Lead solution design workshops and act as Design Authority

Createapprove HLDLLD architecture diagrams decision logs and standards

Review codeconfiguration enforce secure coding and ensure CICD readiness

Mentor developers and ensure sprint execution aligns with architecture guardrails

Required Skills Qualifications

815 years IT experience 510 years Salesforce experience

Strong Experience Cloud implementation expertise including

Site setup templates LWR preferred CMScontent strategy optional brandingtheming

External user security sharing sets external sharing model permission setsgroups

Experience Builder configuration and reusable UI patterns

Strong Salesforce Core knowledge

Data model automation FlowApex security model reportinganalytics

Handson technical leadership in

LWC Apex integration patterns and performance optimization

Experience leading enterprise programs with multiple stakeholders and crossfunctional teams

Strong documentation communication and stakeholder management skills
