Job Profile:-
This is a solutioning & consulting-focused role. We are looking for Pre-Sales rockstars who deeply understand ORI's conversational AI offerings and can map them to real business problems across industries (BFSI, Telecom, Retail, etc.).
As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will work closely with Sales, Product, AI and Delivery teams to:
- understand customer journeys and pain points,
- design the right solution using ORI's platforms,
- build compelling demos, proposals and PoCs that help win deals.
Key Requirements:-
- Creating solution proposals, vision presentations and ideate solution architecture for the deployment of the conversational AI solutions.
- Understand customer technical requirements and work with partners and customers to align solutions.
- Participate in discovery calls and workshops with clients to understand business processes, current contact-center setup, use cases, and KPIs
- Translate business problems into clear use cases, customer journeys, and high-level bot flows (voice & chat).
- Prepare and deliver product demos, PoC storyboards, and walkthroughs that showcase ORI's capabilities in a simple, business-friendly way.
- Work with internal teams (AI/ML, Product, DevOps, Delivery) to validate feasibility, dependencies, and effort for proposed solutions.
- Draft and structure solution documents, SoWs, effort estimates, and ROI outlines under guidance from senior pre-sales / leadership.
- Support RFP/RFI responses by filling in solution, architecture, security, and functional sections using ORI's internal knowledge base.
- Capture client requirements, assumptions, and risks clearly and ensure a smooth handover to Delivery after deal closure.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal collateral decks, case studies, solution templates, domain-specific playbooks.
- Stay updated on ORI's roadmap, features, integrations, and success stories and reflect them in proposals and client conversations.
- Support Sales in pipeline reviews, bid/no-bid decisions, and solution positioning, ensuring ORI is seen as a strategic partner and not just a tool/vendor.
Our ideal candidate should have:-
- Total Experience: 13 years in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, Business Analysis, or Client-Facing Tech/SaaS roles.
- Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or related fields is preferred (but not mandatory if experience is strong).
- Strong conceptual understanding of at least one of the following:
- Contact centers / customer support
- SaaS / cloud solutions
- APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Ability to grasp technical concepts (APIs, webhooks, cloud hosting, security basics) and explain them in simple business language.
- Excellent communication & storytelling skills strong in PowerPoint (solution decks, storytelling) and Excel (basic ROI modelling, effort estimates).
- Strong analytical thinking can break vague problems into structured requirements and solution components.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving products, where documentation and processes are maturing.
- Exposure to AI / ML / NLP / GenAI / chatbots / voicebots
- Experience in BFSI, Telecom, E-commerce, or BPO/contact centers
- Prior experience in demoing products to clients or working on RFPs/PoCs
