The Team
At Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), our PEPI practice is a dynamic and integral part of our global operations, collaborating closely with clients and onshore teams to deliver independent, data-driven analysis and comprehensive, end-to-end services across the private equity investment lifecycle.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist to support our practice's consulting teams by capturing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge assets across the firm. The ideal candidate will help enhance organizational learning, streamline access to critical information, and drive knowledge sharing practices that contribute to the firm's strategic goals and project delivery excellence.
How You Will Contribute
As a member of the A&M PEPI team, you will:
- Knowledge Capture & Curation
- Collect, organize, and maintain key project documents (e.g., proposals, deliverables, case studies).
- Facilitate post-project reviews to extract reusable insights and best practices.
- Content Management
- Manage PEPI's knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint, internal knowledge portals).
- Ensure content is up to date, searchable, and aligned with metadata and tagging standards.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration among consultants and subject matter experts.
- Support internal communities of practice and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Process Improvement
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in knowledge management processes and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with the Global Knowledge Management team to support the development and rollout of KM policies, frameworks, and toolkits.
- KM Tools & Technologies
- Act as a liaison between consulting teams and the Global Knowledge Management team to ensure effective implementation and adoption of KM tools.
- Provide user training and ongoing support on KM systems and best practices.
- Reporting & Metrics
- Track usage and engagement across KM platforms and generate impact reports.
- Recommend enhancements based on usage patterns and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 13 years of experience in knowledge management, content management, or professional services operations.
- Prior experience in a consulting firm or similar professional services environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with knowledge and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, MS Teams, or enterprise search platforms.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across all levels of the organization.
- Curious, resourceful, and passionate about continuous learning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
