Partnerships with philanthropies, financiers, grassroots organizations, carbon buyers, and other institutional/B2B partners have been crucial to achieving this scale.
Role Overview
The Associate - Partnerships & B2B Sales will assist the Head of Outreach and Partnerships in developing our B2B and institutional revenue pipeline, targeting:
● Corporates (CSR/gifting)
● Export markets
● Trade & industry associations
● Social enterprises
● NGO/government networks
● MFIs/NBFCs
● Other relevant stakeholders.
This is role with a strong commercial orientation as you will be required to identify, pitch, close, and manage partnerships end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
● Corporate & CSR Sales
○ Identify and engage corporates with active CSR mandates aligned to clean energy access, women's empowerment, rural livelihoods, or climate action
○ Structure proposals integrating impact metrics, product specifications, and commercial terms for CSR committee and procurement approvals
○ Build relationships with CSR teams, sustainability managers, and procurement leads
● Export & Institutional Markets
○ Map and develop export market opportunities viz. NGOs, multilateral procurement, government tenders across target geographies
○ Engage trade associations, industry bodies, and development finance networks
○ Support RFQ/RFP responses for institutional buyers
● Financing Partnerships
○ Support the management in identifying, establishing, and managing distribution opportunities through partnerships with financiers such as MFIs/NBFCs
● Reporting & Coordination
○ Produce pipeline reports, sector analyses, and deal progress reports for leadership
○ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proposal accuracy and delivery commitments
What We're Looking For
● 3–5 years in B2B sales, institutional partnerships, or CSR-linked business development
● Demonstrated track record of closing deals with corporates or institutional buyers, not just pipeline building
● Strong proposal writing and commercial structuring skills
● Comfort navigating long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
● Ability to navigate uncertainty and work independently with limited handholding
● Familiarity with CRM systems
● Bonus: Exposure to export markets and development sector procurement
