We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedAssociate Operations Lead - Master Data Management (MDM)to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Master Data Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee daily operations for master data creation, updates, validation, and deactivation across domains (e.g., customer, vendor, material, finance).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Procurement, Sales) to resolve data issues and support business needs
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, setting goals and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Good knowledge and work experience on SAP for customers onboarding and to comply 100% to the check list
- Good Knowledge of Assessing, recommending and understanding of credit limits, DOA (Delegation of Authority) and documentation
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain data quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment across systems and departments.
- Highlight risk involved even if the finance controller has approved and there is no business
- Work as per the tasks and role assigned; must understand business exigency and support business by working for extended hours
- Ensure regular reviews and provide valuable feedback to staff through annual performance appraisals and goal settings program
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in data management.
- Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline MDM processes and increase productivity.
- Regularly review and update MDM workflows to align with evolving business needs and objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing data-related inquiries and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Partner with IT, finance, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
- Prior experience in transitioning/migrating work from onshore to offshore delivery centers will be an advantage
- Ability to provide high quality level of customer service for end-to-end accounting & reporting process
