Job Description

The role of anAssociate Manager - Tata Neu Forex Card Operationsinvolves overseeing the daily processes related to the issuance, transactions, and compliance of the Tata Neu forex card product. This includes ensuring smooth workflows, managing a team, resolving issues, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day card operations to ensure process efficiency and smooth workflow. This involves managing application processing times (Turnaround Times or TAT) and ensuring timely card issuance to customers.
  • Compliance and Regulation:Ensure all operations adhere to internal audit guidelines, as well as external regulations set by bodies like the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act). This includes strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) norms.
  • Transaction Processing & Reconciliation:Manage and monitor foreign exchange transactions, settlements, and related financial entries. Responsibilities may include reconciling transaction records, managing settlement accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., business, finance, systems/technology, compliance) and external partners (e.g., partner banks, vendors like Visa/MasterCard) to address queries, resolve system issues, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Customer Service & Support:Handle escalations and work to resolve customer complaints efficiently, striving for high customer satisfaction. This also involves supporting business teams with information related to customer balances and invoices.
  • Process Improvement:Identify gaps in current processes, recommend measures for improvement, and implement process enhancements to minimize errors and increase efficiency.
  • Team Supervision:Manage and mentor team members, coordinating training sessions on policy/process changes and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
