Job Description
The Associate Manager - SAP Project Management will play a crucial role in the SAP PM Competency - Delivery department, overseeing and guiding SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and transformation projects. This position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders, SAP teams, and external vendors, ensuring successful ERP initiatives and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and deliver SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into SAP project requirements.
- Work with SAP functional and technical teams to design, develop, and implement SAP solutions.
- Engage and manage external vendors and partners to ensure their contributions align with project goals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues promptly.
- Ensure SAP projects adhere to industry best practices, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP project management, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies and their application in various business scenarios.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in SAP project management.
