Job Description

Role Purpose

You will lead a team of expert consultants acting as the vital link between daily recruitment activity and high-level client delivery. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the translation of complex operational datasets into clear, actionable projects for teams across Randstad. Under your guidance, the team will navigate a global matrix of stakeholders to flag potential bottlenecks and deploy proactive solutions that keep our recruitment engine running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tactical Leadership: Manage a team of experts in a matrix environment, ensuring global standards are met while accounting for local market nuances across different geographies
  • Metric Orchestration: Move beyond reporting what happened to explaining why it happened. You will interpret various recruitment metrics across multiple industries (e.g., Funnel Conversion Rates, Time-to-Fill, and Diversity Metrics) throughout global regions.
  • Predictive Flagging: Use data visualization (Tableau/Domo) to identify bottleneckssuch as a sudden drop in candidate pull-through in a specific regionand alert stakeholders before performance is impacted.
  • Stakeholder Synthesis: Act as the connective tissue between operational teams and supporting business units. You will translate technical red flags into actionable operational support plans.
  • Forecasting & Strategy: Leverage historical data to build proactive forecasts, helping clients and internal teams prepare for seasonal shifts or market volatility.

Must-Have Skills

The Data & Analytics Engine

  • Data Interpretation & Narrative Building: The ability to identify why numbers move and translate a 10% drop in Offer Acceptance into a concrete problem statement
  • Visualization Tool Mastery: High-level proficiency in Domo, Tableau, or Looker Studio; comfortable navigating and auditing complex dashboards.
  • Advanced Spreadsheet Mechanics: Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, data cleaning, pivot tables) for deep-dive analysis.
  • Pattern Recognition: A sharp ability to spot red flags and anomalies within recruitment funnel data.

Global Operational Excellence

  • End-to-End Recruitment Knowledge: Deep understanding of the full lifecycle (from sourcing to onboarding) within an international recruitment context, preferably within an RPO/MSP environment.
  • Global Market Fluency: Understanding how High-Volume vs. Niche Tech hiring strategies vary across different global landscapes.
  • Matrix Stakeholder Management: The ability to influence and lead people you do not directly manage across different time zones and cultures.
  • Market Knowledge: Staying informed on market trends, emerging candidate behaviors, and employer trends to support effective root-cause analysis.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Direct People Management: Experience coaching a team of experts, focusing on performance growth and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Consultative Problem-Solving: Approaching challenges by identifying the root cause and presenting multiple actionable takeaways.
  • High-Stakes Communication: Professional executive presence required to present data findings to high-level stakeholders who may not be data-savvy.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Program Implementation: Previous experience participating in the setup of RPO/MSP programs from the ground up.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Understanding how candidate attraction data (CPA/CPC) feeds the top of the recruitment funnel.
  • BigQuery & SQL Literacy: The ability to write basic queries to extract raw data independently.
