Associate Manager - Production | MAF Retail

Role Purpose:

The Associate Manager - Production oversees the Carrefour UAE online platform, including the website and application. This role is responsible for developing, editing, and maintaining all data and content across the platform. Key duties include creating and managing campaign pages, product listing pages, product badges, and vouchers. The Associate Manager ensures that promotional and informational content is effectively presented and published, optimizing the online customer experience.

Role Details Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Content Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Create, implement, and optimize online content and campaigns for the Carrefour UAE website and application using the CMS platform
  • Design & manage campaign pages, product listing pages, & digital leaflets in line with plans
  • Curate and refine content to improve the discovery experience for online shoppers
  • Ensure timely updates and relevance of content across category pages and the Home Pages
  • Oversee the management of product badges, vouchers, and all promotional content

Campaign Execution & Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, resolving issues related to banner naming and landing page accuracy
  • Track progress and metrics to ensure alignment with campaign goals and optimization of Banner CTRs and CTTs
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to leverage data and insights for optimizing campaigns and reporting results
  • Support in analyzing category trends and performance to inform campaign strategies and seasonal promotions

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Corporate Onsite Marketing team to implement central campaigns and optimize product features
  • Work closely with Content and Creative teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate with commercial teams to support market-specific promotions

Performance & Goals:

  • Strive to meet or exceed targets for Order, AOV, GMV, Home Page Conversion Rate, Banner CTR, and Banner CTT
  • Focus on driving orders and improving the overall effectiveness of banners and promotions

Operational Flexibility:

  • Be flexible with work timings as needed to manage and refresh campaigns according to the marketing calendar

Consumer Behavior Insight:

  • Analyze online versus offline shopping behaviors to enhance the online shopping experience and drive commercial impact
  • Tailor content and communication strategies based on various target audience segments

Definition of Success

  • Measured by KPIs against the targets (On-Time execution)

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Expertise in managing online content and campaigns for websites and applications
  • Experience with CMS platforms and basic knowledge of HTML
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for engaging various stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously with a curious and open mindset, ready to explore diverse topics
  • Team player with a high degree of self-motivation, capable of thriving in a fast-paced culture

Pluses:

  • Analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data sets using tools like Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, business administration, or a related field

Minimum experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in website content creation and management
  • 3-5 years of experience with CMS platforms and HTML
  • Experience in the retail industry is a plus

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics for data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Asana is advantageous
  • Experience with CMS platforms and basic knowledge of HTML
  • Proven expertise in developing online content and campaigns for websites and applications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel is a plus.

Preferred Languages

  • English (Full professional proficiency)
