RoleOverview
As anAssociate Manager, you will design and deliver robust forecasting models that inform strategic and financial decision-making in the bio-pharmaceutical sector. Leveraging your68 years of industry experience, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding project teams, providing thought leadership, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet complex client requirements.
KeyResponsibilities
- Develop and validate patient-based and volume-based forecast models, integrating secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, claims, EMR) and primary research insights
- Conduct scenario analyses (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations) to capture market uncertainty and outline strategic options for clients
- Stay updated on multiple therapeutic areas, including Oncology and CNS, to provide expert insights on market sizing, sales projections, and patient flow analytics
- Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, present forecast assumptions, and propose data-driven solutions
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, reviewing models and deliverables for accuracy and clarity
- Translate large datasets into actionable insights using advanced Excel (including VBA) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Produce compelling presentations and reports that clearly communicate methodology, assumptions, and recommendations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, global environment
Requirements
- 68 years in pharmaceutical forecasting or commercial analytics, ideally in a consulting or bio-pharma environment
- Advanced Excel skills (including VBA) and experience with relevant secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony)
- Strong understanding of drug development, regulatory dynamics, and commercial strategies
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data points into clear, strategic recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of client-facing engagements
- Experience guiding or mentoring analysts and delivering results under tight timelines
- Comfort working in cross-functional, global teams and adapting to changing priorities
