Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily mine operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling of coal - Implement and monitor mining plans to achieve production targets and quality standards - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and operating procedures - Manage a team of mining professionals, providing leadership, training, and support - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mining processes and resolve operational challenges - Prepare reports on production, safety incidents, and performance metrics for management review - Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement - Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and innovation among the mine operations staff
Qualifications
Education Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field Certification Required:- Valid Mine Manager Certificate of Competency Experience:- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Coal Mining industry
