Job Description

Overview

The SG&A Finance Assoc Analyst will support the General & Administrative (G&A) finance function through month-end close, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities. .

Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Core Finance Activities

  • Support period-end close activities & Analysis
  • Prepare and post journal entries - (Accruals, Prepayments etc.)
  • Manage investment accruals and keep systems updated.
  • Perform reconciliations across SAP, TM1, and Hyperion to ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct GRIR, cost center and expenses reviews & analysis.
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations and participate in review calls.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Manage PAX uploads and forecast adjustments.
  • Coordinate alignment with key stakeholders during forecasting cycles.
  • Conduct variance analysis and seasonality analysis.
  • Maintain financial and IR reporting files (PY vs PF vs AOP).
  • Support adhoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

Process & Systems Support

  • Run and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows.
  • Manage intercompany crosscharges.
  • Maintain process trackers and documentation.
  • Review VIM approvals.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and help streamline processes.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance, IT, HR, Sales and other crossfunctional teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and stakeholder calls.
  • Provide timely reporting and operational insights to support decisionmaking.

Qualifications

  • CA (Chartered Accountant) with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Semi-qualified CA with 7–8 years of relevant experience, or
  • MBA in Finance with 6–8 years of experience in Finance/FP&A/Accounting roles.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, financial analysis, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise finance systems such as SAP, Hyperion (HFM), and TM1.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis, with the ability to manage multiple reporting and planning tasks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
