Job Description

Responsible for delivering reporting and analytics for South Africas CFB business unit through dashboards, periodic performance reviews, and ad-hoc analyses. The role ensures accurate, timely insights from internal and external data sources, supports stakeholder needs, and drives process optimization and automation. Requires strong analytical skills, expertise in CPG data (Nielsen, IRi, Kantar), proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and exceptional stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver market, portfolio, and brand-level reporting of marketing KPIs using dashboards and standardized templates.
  • Provide clear business performance explanations, identify drivers, and highlight optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor channel, customer, and competitor performance; execute periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and respond to follow-up requests with data-driven insights and visualizations.
  • Ensure data quality, streamline processes, and support automation and standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience:5+ years in consumer insights, analytics, or research within CPG or leading research agencies (e.g., NIQ, IPSOS, IRI).
  • Education: Masters degree in Economics, Sociology, Mathematics, Marketing, or Management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, SPSS; familiarity with CPG data sources (Nielsen, IRi, Kantar).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of CPG performance metrics and ability to synthesize insights visually.
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile methods and operational consulting.
  • Language: Fluent English (mandatory).
