- Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage civil engineering activities across power plant projects, including foundation works, structural concreting, earthworks, and ancillary civil constructions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Technical Supervision: Provide expert technical guidance on design interpretation, construction methods, quality control, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Coordination and Communication: Act as a key liaison between project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to facilitate seamless workflow, resolve issues promptly, and maintain transparent communication channels.
- Quality Assurance and Safety: Enforce stringent quality assurance protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure strict adherence to safety policies and environmental guidelines aligned with Adani's culture of zero harm and sustainability.
- Resource Management: Plan and optimize the deployment of manpower, materials, and equipment on site to enhance productivity while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, prepare progress reports, technical submissions, and assist in the preparation of contract-related documents and claims management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in civil execution and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption and ensure continuity.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promote the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and innovative construction techniques to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and teamwork in line with Adani's value of nurturing talent.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support engagement with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to ensure project compliance and positive social impact.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies relevant to power plant infrastructure.
- Proficiency in structural design interpretation and civil construction quality control.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Primavera P6 or MS Project for project planning and design review.
- Experience with contract management, tendering, and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of environmental and safety regulations applicable to civil works in the energy sector.
- Competence in site supervision and hands-on management of large-scale civil projects.

Qualifications
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university. A master's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields is desirable.
Experience:-
10-12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering roles within the Power/Energy sector, with demonstrated expertise in project execution, site management, and infrastructure development.
