About the role
TheBusiness FinancePartneris a full-time roleresponsiblefor partneringwithvariousbusinessverticalswithin Zetaandleadsdiscussionstodriverespective business &financial performance.Theroleis responsible forprovidingbusiness &financial analysis and reporting forbusinessverticalsalong withmanaging and standardizing key business processes such asbudgeting,Monthlybusinessreview,Pulse Businessperformance andprovidingmeaningful insights.Driving performance of business functions and cost control are key deliverables.
Thisrole requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, extreme attention to detail, and consistentlyaccurate, high quality financial analysis.
Responsibilities
Understanding of business units,their revenue andcost structuresDevelop, own, analyzeandreport the Annual Business Plan, financialbudgetsand periodic forecastsEstablish and control budget, drive financial discipline in the company, set up financial control processes including monthly/Quarterly Operating Plan, and ensure adherence to budgetsManage business development activities according to financialplansto achieve profitability and revenueReview the actual results against the budgeted goals toidentifyand correct accounting issues and variancesAnalyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and helping leadership team in their decision makingProvide analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategiesLeading discussions on improving GM, cost rationalization, engaging with differentteamsto improve GM by better negotiationProject planning and monitoringProvide financial support and advice to management in closing business dealsAct as a key decision maker for financial related commitments in business projectsModify financial plan and budget amount based on the changes in business plansAssistin the preparation of capital budgets for the business unitsDevelop profit and loss plan to ensuremaximizedreturns and profit targetsManage the profit&loss statements and balance sheet to ensurefinancialintegrityCoordinate with operations, sales, marketing, and customer service teams to supervise andsupportbusiness operations effectivelyInspect and approve all vendor contracts and account expenses of theverticalsBuilding partnerships andmaintainingstrong relationships with all senior managementand their teamsWork closely with the accounting team to ensureaccuratefinancial reportingWork towards standardization and documentation of key processesDevelop and publish Board Review presentationsand other management communicationSkills
