Job Purpose: Executive - Aerodrome Safeguarding is responsible to support the safeguarding operations by assisting in the identification, documentation, and mitigation of potential hazards within the airside environment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations through thorough inspections, effective incident response, stakeholder communication, and data management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys, verify coordinates and elevations, and prepare joint inspection reports.
  • Identify and document obstacles as per Aircraft Rules 1994 and coordinate with relevant authorities for removal.
  • Conduct routine monitoring of Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) and obstacle lights as per established SOPs.
  • Process and maintain records for SACFA, NOC, OC/CC, and Crane/Piling Rig NOC applications.
  • Coordinate with local government bodies for the reduction or removal of obstacles around the airport.
  • Utilize ArcGIS for obstacle plotting, survey data analysis, chart updates, and layout preparation.
  • Maintain updated databases and prepare official communication with stakeholders, AAI, and DGCA.
  • Liaise with MCGM and MIAL for pruning/cutting/transplanting of trees

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, GIS, or a related technical field (preferred).

26 years of experience in Aviation or Aerodrome Safeguarding roles
