Role Summary
We are seeking a
hands‑on Ass. Lead Engineer (Full Stack) with strong experience building backend services and deep expertise in modern frontend technologies. This role combines technical leadership with active development and close collaboration with Product, UX, and platform teams.
This is
a hands‑on role with coding, design ownership and code reviews are core expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve high‑quality web applications end‑to‑end
- Own frontend architecture while actively contributing to backend services
- Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Define and review API contracts, data flows, and frontend‑backend integration
- Partner with UX, Product, and QA to translate requirements into production‑ready solutions
- Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and maintainability across the stack
- Guide and mentor engineers on full‑stack and frontend best practices
- Promote standards for UI architecture, backend services, and code quality
- Leverage AI‑assisted developer tools (e.g., code completion, refactoring, test generation) to improve productivity and quality
What You Bring
Experience
- 4-6 years of software engineering experience with hands‑on full‑stack development
- Strong frontend depth with meaningful backend ownership
- Experience leading delivery and technical direction for enterprise or SaaS applications
Core Skills
- Frontend: React ecosystem, TypeScript, state management, responsive design
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, authentication/authorization
- Strong understanding of performance, security, scalability, and accessibility (WCAG)
- Experience designing reusable UI components and backend modules
- Familiarity with cloud‑native and CI/CD‑driven environments
- Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality is a plus
Technology Stack
- Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Redux (or equivalent), HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, security (OAuth/JWT)
- Tooling: Modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, web accessibility standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (B.Tech / MCA or equivalent experience)
- Financial services / Wealth Management domain experience is a plus
