Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at the Law Office of SHAMEEM AHMED, located in Ernakulam. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing advisory services related to corporate, commercial, and tax laws. The role involves representing clients in legal proceedings, liaising with clients, and collaborating with senior lawyers to build and present cases effectively. Attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and maintaining client confidentiality are critical aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and strong passion for Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Taxation Law
• Proficiency in Legal Research, Document Drafting, and Case Analysis (must be familiar with manupatra and other legal journals)
• Effective Communication, Negotiation, and Client Relationship Management skills
• Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Time Management abilities
• Keen understanding of litigation procedures and court practices
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification; enrollment with the Bar Council is required
• Prior experience in corporate or legal advisory services is an advantage
