The firm regularly advises venture funds and high growth companies in their investment transactions, fintech and frontier tech companies on regulatory and product compliance and RBI requirements, as well as existing and aspiring fund managers on licensing / registration requirements of AIFs, portfolio managers, and other regulated intermediaries. We have also recently expanded our Frontier Technologies, Media and Data Protection practice, and are building out the team to service growing demand in this space.

Role Description

The Associate (Frontier Tech & Data Protection) will work on a range of projects related to technology law, aerospace, fintech, data protection, and compliance frameworks. Responsibilities include assisting in legal research, drafting contracts, providing technical support for compliance issues, addressing client queries, and ensuring adherence to emerging regulatory frameworks. The Associate will collaborate across teams to provide practical solutions tailored to clients needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure legal environment
• Experience of at least 1 (one) year in data privacy regulations and technology law
