What are we

FitnessIQ is a forward-thinking diet and fitness start-up built for South Asians, focused on bringing structure, sustainability, simplicity and real knowledge to health and wellness. We do not overpromise shortcuts or extreme nutrition. Instead, we help people build simple diet and fitness routines that work with real lives - work, family, culture, and routine. Our focus is on consistency over perfection.

With a client-centred approach, FitnessIQ aims to make healthy living accessible, practical, and effective, helping people improve long-term health outcomes and build lifelong habits and healthier generation of South Asians.

We are now entering the MVP launch phase, and looking for the right early partner to help shape the product and grow with the company.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Associate Founder/Early Partner specializing in Diet & Fitness. In this role, you will actively contribute to building the vision and scaling the product from the ground up. We are building early, moving fast, and this requires real commitment, ownership and initiative. You will work closely with the founder on both execution and strategy, shaping the product and its future direction.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic partner, advising on product, user experience, and growth
• Help define Phase 2 features (AI feedback, habit tracking, smarter plans)
• Brainstorm, challenge ideas, and help shape the long-term vision

Day-to-day execution (Initial phase):

• Assign personalised meal plans based on user goals and profiles
• Review daily meal and workout uploads and rate them (weekdays)
• Provide weekly feedback on progress, habits, and improvements
• Create and refine recipes and meal ideas suited to South Asian lifestyles
• Contribute ideas to social media and content, building trust and credibility

As an early partner, the work should feel like ours, not assigned tasks

Who we are looking for

• Strong foundation in nutrition, diet planning, and fitness (formal or applied)
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Comfortable operating in a zero-to-one start-up environment
• Able to balance hands-on execution with big-picture thinking
• Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration and ownership
• Passionate about health, prevention, and long-term impact

Education (flexible):

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, or a related field preferred, not mandatory.

Advanced certifications or real-world experience are a strong plus, not a requirement.
