Job Description

Brief Job Description:
Design engineer of Industrial DC UPS / DCDB along with its accessories as per the customer specification. Knowledge of different type of battery and its charging profile is must.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

. Study and understand of complete customer requirement from the pre-bid/ tender document.
. Preparation of SLD and detailed schematic as per required.

. Component selections- like switchgears, interlocking/ protecting relays, instrumentation devices, semiconductor devices etc.

. Rectifier sizing, charger sizing, battery sizing as per inputs given by customer.

. Preparation of complete engineering documents consists of GTP, Sizing, Schematic, BOM, GAD etc for customer approval.

. Meeting with CFT members like- production, quality, vendors, supplier, purchase, testing to resolve ongoing issues & improvement.
. Assist and review technical documents prepared by others team member.
. Discussion with customer to resolve technical quarries.
. Assist marketing / presales team in preparing competitive offer.
. Travel to customer / consultant place for technical discussion.

Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics

. 2-5 years experience in designing of industrial battery charger system.

Additional Requirement:
. Hands on experience in AutoCad / Solid works/ Solid Edge for preparation of drawing.
. Knowledge of various type of switchgear / meters / transducer.
. Battery sizing calculation.

. Cable sizing calculation.
