About this opportunity:
Ericsson is currently looking for an experienced Associate Domain Support Specialist with Linux & Database Support Engineer with strong fundamentals in Linux systems and database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system stability, supporting database operations, and ensuring high availability of critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for Linux-based systems and environments
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers
Manage and support databases (installation, backups, restoration, basic tuning)
Execute routine health checks and performance monitoring
Assist in patching, upgrades, and system hardening activities
Handle user access management and security compliance
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and service requests
Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Linux (any distribution such as Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu)
Basic understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)
Familiarity with shell scripting and basic automation
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH)
Experience with system monitoring tools
Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
BE/ B. Tech with good communication skills
