Role Description

Associate Director Valuations is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. We are looking for an experienced valuation professional with deep expertise in409A valuations and equity allocation methodologieswho can:

Review and sign 409A valuation reports

Provide technical oversight on ASC 718, IRC 83 and related equity valuation engagements

Guide junior team members and strengthen internal valuation frameworks

Interface with founders, finance teams, auditors and legal advisors globally

Support audit defence and client technical discussions

Contribute to methodology development and quality control

Mandatory Qualifications

Minimum10+ years of valuation experience

Minimum4+ years experience in a Big 4 firm(Deals / Valuation / Transaction Advisory preferred)

Strong hands-on experience performing and reviewing409A valuations

Deep familiarity with:

• OPM
• PWERM
• CVM
• Option pricing models
• DLOM frameworks

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder or American Society of Appraisers (ASA) accredited member

Strong report writing, technical documentation and client communication skills

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting U.S. startup ecosystem or venture-backed companies

Experience interacting with U.S. auditors and legal counsels

Prior experience reviewing or signing valuation reports is highly desirable
