Role Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Director – SAP MM to lead and oversee SAP Materials Management (MM) projects, driving strategic initiatives and delivering high-impact solutions. This leadership role involves managing teams, ensuring project excellence, and collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize supply chain and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute SAP MM strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead large-scale SAP MM implementations, upgrades, and transformations.
- Drive innovation in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
2. Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
3. Team Development & Mentorship:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing SAP MM teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
4. Technical Expertise & Process Optimization:
- Provide technical guidance on SAP MM configurations, integrations, and customizations.
- Optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and industry standards.
5. Change Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead change management initiatives to support SAP adoption and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Promote continuous improvement practices across SAP MM operations.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP MM with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large SAP projects across diverse industries.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA MM module is highly desirable.
