Job Description

  • Leads technical delivery (tech design, build, test support, TCO, systems mgmt.) for S4 migration projects for international markets
  • Manages and/or provides approval for project stage gate and solution design reviews
  • Provides guidance and expertise to the development teams on design and development performance and architecture decisions
  • Leads teams work with business and IT partners to deliver within project timelines and budget
  • Works with customers and IT partners globally to identify and resolve application issues, escalating as required
  • Partner closely with external vendors, including on-shore and offshore resources.
  • Provides Technical cut-over, Go-Live and Hypercare support
  • Governance and controls to ensure adherence to technology standards, best practices, release management, change management, and other related processes and procedures, SLA and controls compliance
  • Assist in providing mentoring and training to development team members; helping to integrate them into the department (effective onboarding process
  • Ensures effective resource utilization across the workgroup
  • Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
  • Helps ensure compliance with global template standards within the S/4HANA PGT space.
  • Supports the global governance process for PGT (S4 migration) function, provides official sign-off on SAP customizations
  • Partners with global Enterprise Architecture team to establish and help govern architecture standards.
  • Partner with multiple IT teams, to obtain consensus and approvals for solution decisions, and ensure alignment to global standards.
  • Coordinates the contract and vendor management related activities complying with global guidelines.
  • Accountable for SAP landscape requirements to support and align with DSO projects, including third party applications.
  • Lead a team of employee and contract resources to meet Project delivery needs.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
  • Coordinate work activities with other IT services and business teams.
  • Track project development quality KPIs and overall health of the project.
  • Hold team accountable for milestone deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of related IT work experience, including significant experience managing teams (5+ years)
  • Experience in CPG industry preferred
  • Strong IT background, robust command of key IT processes (project/program management, release management, and vendor relationship management).
  • 10+ years of SAP experience with Application Development, System Admin or Release Management; S/4 & HANA experience a plus
  • Effective communication and facilitation, including preparing, organizing and delivering presentations and taking a leading role in workshops, meetings and discussions.
  • Proficient in written & spoken English is a MUST.
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, Azure DevOps, quality management tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation and production support experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe and PepsiCos Agile Methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
