Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting the committed topline plans (between USD 25MM to USD 50 MM) for the year for each brand/ portfolio while beating market growth objectives
u2022 Drive top-line, market share, and bottom-line targets for the BU/ Cluster and Affiliate
u2022 Accountable for budgeting, business planning, and strategizing in line with the budgeted manpower in the sales force.
u2022 Maintaining control of operating budget, delivering on both top line and bottom line
u2022 Spearheading marketing and sales activities/initiatives to ensure that short and long-range sales volumes and projects are achieved.
u2022 Collaborating with product development team to implement product modifications or improvements of product line.
u2022 Life cycle management which anticipates and serves a customer need / solution approach for brands
u2022 Conduct research as per the brand need (analyze customer behavior, perception- attribute mapping, etc.) and design strategies accordingly. Undertake feasibility analysis/ market research for new opportunities.
u2022 Develop and implement Annual Operating Plan for brand portfolio.
u2022 Undertake fieldwork to capture insights
u2022 Effectively collaborate with sales team and cross functional stakeholders for buy-in of strategies to internal customers and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies
u2022 Ensure quality and timely delivery/execution of campaign collaterals/inputs/activities to the field force.
u2022 Effectively coordinate with other functional areas within organization e.g. Medical, Training, Promo team, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources etc.
Education:
Graduate in Science / Pharmacy. u2022 MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing from top B school (tier 1 at least) Experience: u2022 Incumbent who is currently in the role of a Business Unit Director is preferred u2022 Incumbent should have Sales and Marketing Experience along with Team Management experience of 3 years. u2022 Pharmaceutical Product Management experience of 3 years (preferably in MNC) as a brand manager u2022 Exposure to managing Key Accounts / dealing with Key Opinion Leaders u2022 Experience in managing new launches is preferable Skills: u2022 Excellent Communication Skills u2022 Functional & Technical Knowledge on therapy areas owned and other therapies in the division u2022 Demonstrates creativity, innovation and drive for results. u2022 Ability to influence, lead and work with cross functional teams u2022 Analytical skills and good Financial Acumen u2022 Strategic thinking, Problem solving and decision making skills u2022 Planning and organizing skills for short term and long term. u2022 Time management and multi-tasking skill
