Job Overview
We're seeking a strategic performance marketing leader with 7+ years of agency experience (mandatory) to head our performance marketing function. You will oversee multiple teams and Group Leads, drive departmental P&L, standardize processes, lead client strategy for enterprise accounts, and shape the future of performance marketing at 8 Views—while mentoring leaders and ensuring scalable, profitable growth across our brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the performance marketing strategy across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and emerging platforms for the entire client portfolio—ensuring scalable ROI, efficient budget allocation, and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Group Leads, Managers, Associates, and interns; drive hiring, training, performance reviews, and career development to build a high-performance culture.
- Own client relationships for key enterprise accounts: lead strategic reviews, escalations, and growth conversations—translating complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Partner with Business Development team to craft winning performance strategies for pitches, proposals, and client onboarding—contributing directly to agency revenue growth.
- Establish and enforce department-wide SOPs for campaign execution, tracking, reporting, and optimization; oversee implementation of advanced measurement frameworks (GA4, CAPI, server-side tagging, attribution).
- Drive innovation by testing new channels, ad formats, automation tools, and AI-driven strategies; stay ahead of platform updates, privacy changes, and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage departmental budget pacing, forecasting, resource planning, and tool/vendor negotiations; ensure operational efficiency and profitability across the performance vertical.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Content, Strategy, and Tech teams to align on integrated campaigns and resolve high-priority escalations.
Requirements
- 7+ years in performance marketing at a digital marketing agency (mandatory), with minimum 3–4 years in a leadership role managing teams and client portfolios.
- Proven expertise scaling Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns with strong, documented ROI across diverse industries
- Demonstrated experience managing teams; strong ability to delegate, mentor, and drive accountability across multi-layered teams.
- Advanced analytical proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Excel/Sheets, Looker Studio, and attribution tools; deep understanding of funnel optimization, segmentation, and incrementality.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and tracking infrastructure (mandatory).
- Exceptional client-facing skills: confident in C-level presentations, strategic negotiations, and translating performance insights into business growth.
- Strong business acumen: understanding of agency P&L, utilization metrics, and how performance delivery impacts overall agency success.
- Self-starter with high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental agency environment.
