Position Summary:

The Associate Director People Success Partner is a senior People Leader responsible for driving the People Success agenda across assigned business verticals and locations. This role acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities to enable growth, performance, and organizational health.

The role blends strong business acumen, organizational development expertise, and HR leadership, while remaining hands-on in execution. The Associate Director will lead a team of People Success Partners and work closely with COEs to deliver scalable, high-impact people solutions.

Leadership & Scope

Lead and coach a team of People Success Partners (HRBPs), building strong HRBP capability and bench strength

Serve as a trusted partner to Senior Leadership and Business Heads

Own people strategy delivery across multiple verticals and geographies

Act as a culture carrier and role model for MarketStar values

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnering

Partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into actionable people strategies

Support leadership in workforce planning, org design, and capability building

Provide data-driven insights to influence business and talent decisions

Contribute to long-term business and people strategy, including succession planning

Talent Management & Leadership Development

Drive talent planning to ensure the right people, in the right roles, at the right time

Lead succession planning, high-potential identification, and internal mobility

Build manager and leader capability to assess talent, identify future skills, and develop teams

Partner with L&D to evaluate and embed leadership development and coaching programs

Performance Management & Capability Building

Strengthen manager effectiveness in goal setting, feedback, differentiation, and recognition

Act as a consultant to leaders on individual and team performance challenges

Drive fair, consistent, and high-quality performance management practices

Coach leaders on difficult conversations and accountability

Employee Engagement & Culture

Partner with leaders to shape, evolve, and sustain a high-performance culture

Drive employee engagement initiatives, action planning, and follow-through

Support onboarding, integration, and engagement of new hires

Champion inclusion, collaboration, and employee experience improvements

Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness

Diagnose organizational challenges and design targeted interventions

Lead and support change initiatives such as restructuring, transformation, or scale-ups

Coach leaders through organizational and cultural change

Manage workforce redeployment or reduction when required, in partnership with Legal

Employee Relations & Compliance

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with objectivity and empathy

Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, company policies, and governance standards

Partner with Legal on investigations, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters

Provide day-to-day guidance to leaders on employee lifecycle matters

Data, Analytics & Governance

Analyze people metrics and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities

Use HR data to inform decisions and measure effectiveness of people programs

Partner with HR COEs (TA, L&D, C&B) to deliver integrated solutions

Required Qualifications & Experience

About 12 20 years of progressive HR / People Partnering experience

Strong background in Sales, Services, BPO, Consulting, or high-growth environments

Proven experience leading HRBP / People Partner teams

Hands-on experience managing complex employee relations and change initiatives

Bachelor's degree required; MBA / HR certifications preferred
