Manages, implement and administer Sales and Marketing activities.

Largely involved in formulating Sales and Marketing plans, guidelines, policies and short-term strategies as well as setting goals and targets.

Provides guidance to team leaders.

Lead, direct, and control all sales and marketing functions so activities meet the organisation's business objectives, comply with regulations, and protect the organisation's reputation.

Activities may include: market research, forecasting, pricing, marketing campaigns, business development activities, customer service, invoicing and payment administration.

May be involved in negotiating terms of sales with clients.

Responsible for establishing targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development for own department and monitoring performance of the department against these goals.
