Position Overview
The Associate Director Admissions will lead and manage the end-to-end admissions strategy, operations, and team performance for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role requires a dynamic leader with a strong understanding of higher education admissions, data-driven marketing, and relationship management to attract and convert high-quality students aligned with the university's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute annual admissions plans aligned with the university's enrollment targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on market positioning, program visibility, and enrollment strategies.
- Drive innovation in admissions processes, digital campaigns, and applicant experience.
- Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and student data to guide decision-making.
Admissions Management
- Oversee the full admissions lifecycle inquiry generation, application review, selection, offer issuance, and conversion.
- Ensure transparent, efficient, and student-centric admissions processes.
- Collaborate with academic departments to define selection criteria and admission guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with university policies, UGC norms, and accreditation standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of admissions managers, counselors, and telecallers.
- Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance against enrollment goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy work environment.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain and analyze admission dashboards and conversion metrics.
- Provide timely reports to management on performance, forecasts, and insights.
- Ensure accurate data management through CRM and admissions software tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree (preferably in Management, Marketing, Education, or related field).
- 1218 years of progressive experience in university admissions, marketing, Outreach or student recruitment, with at least 57 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in meeting or exceeding enrollment targets in a competitive academic environment.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and MS Office suite.
