About the Product:

QuickTV is a mobile-first streaming platform by ShareChat, specialising in short, fast-paced, vertically-shot mini-series (micro-dramas) with quick episodes (often 90-120 seconds) for quick entertainment, featuring popular genres like romance, family, and revenge, using both professional and AI-assisted content to cater to the snackable viewing habits of users.

About the Role:

The Micro Drama Lead helps the sales team win and grow business by bringing deep product, content, and industry knowledge to advertiser conversations. This role sits inside the sales org but works closely with the product and content teams to make sure pitches are accurate, sharp, and aligned with what we can deliver. Think of this person as the translator who helps advertisers see the full value of the microdrama ecosystem.

Note: This is a core sales role with quarterly targets

What You'll Do

Sales Support and Pitches

  • Join sales teams in client meetings to explain the microdrama format, storytelling approach, audience behaviour, and performance outcomes.
  • Tailor narratives and examples to the brand's category, objective, and creative openness.
  • Help craft pitch stories, case studies, and microdrama-led campaign ideas that strengthen the sales narrative.

Product and Content Bridge

  • Share market insights, advertiser feedback, and pitch learnings with the product and content teams.
  • Help shape product enhancements, ad formats, integrations, and measurement frameworks based on what advertisers want.
  • Stay updated on new product features, content innovations, and platform capabilities and translate them into sales-friendly language.

Category and Market Intelligence

  • Track category-level trends, brand storytelling patterns, and competitors in the short-form and microdrama space.
  • Spot new opportunities where microdrama can solve brand problems more effectively than traditional formats.

Internal Enablement

  • Train and upskill the sales team on microdrama best practices, format strengths, use cases, and what works for brands.
  • Build and maintain internal playbooks, reference decks, examples, and talking points that help sales pitch microdrama confidently.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the finance, legal and content teams so that the pitched solution is delivered as promised.

Who are you

  • 8-12years of Ad Sales experience, preferably in the OTT industry or Sales strategy background.
  • You are a strong storyteller with a commercial mindset who knows how to translate content and product into compelling sales narratives. You are comfortable in client conversations, explaining the value of microdrama through audience behaviour, creative strategy, and measurable outcomes.
