Overview

We're introducing a new Marketing Capability and Operations role within International Beverages (based in Dublin) to drive and embed key marketing capabilities whilst retaining direct connectivity with the Global Marketing Capability and Operations team. This role will also be responsible of driving the marketing capability agenda for the India market across both Foods and Beverages.


This is a key role as part of the Global Marketing Capability & Operations sub-function to land our Powering Positive Growth (PPG) Agenda for PEP's consumer organization across both food and beverages for PepsiCo globally. The global capability and operations program is expected to deliver step-changed brand-building organization capability to support development of our overall pull muscle through our PPG priorities of developing Iconic Brands, embedding the PepsiCo-wide growth model, Growth Navigator and delivering significant A&M efficiencies through Becoming Better Investors for reinvestment in top markets, key brands and new future-facing capabilities


This role is to elevate International Beverages & India PO1 marketing capability efforts through the partnership with Global marketing capability & operations team to develop and deploy world class marketing capability content and drive the capability building. This role will deliver and embed the global transformation & capability program which is expected to deliver step-changed brand-building capabilities to support development of Iconic Brands, embed the PepsiCo growth model, and new future facing capabilities.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Marketing Transformation leadership: enabling, launching and removing barriers to embed the transformation in International Beverages & India with a focus on Iconic Brands inclusive of the overall Creative excellence and content workstream and Growth Navigator.
  • Lead Marketing Capability & Operations in the International Beverages team & India to embed & sustain change across PepsiCo
  • Land the priority workstreams of Iconic Brands that move culture and Growth Navigator across International Beverages (priority #1) with additional support for India Foods & Beverages.
  • Ensure close cooperation with the IB Sr. Director Marketing Capabilities and the CMO India Foods to orchestrate the transformation within International Beverages and India Foods.
  • Be the Change Agents for PepsiCo's Consumer Organization in IB and India.

Marketing & Insights Capability Strategy & Leadership

  • Build & deploy holistic capability programming calendar for inclusive of:
  • Upskilling against PPG priorities of Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands, and Human Centricity using the global PPG Marketing Academy material, to build knowledge amongst relevant associates
  • Ongoing support/consulting/coaching opportunities on key brand artifacts (Brand Pulse, CBPs, DBAs) and growth planning documents (BGS, TCP Architecture, TCP Opportunity Briefs, etc.) to elevate deliverable quality
  • Governance process for key brand deliverables within the growth planning process (BGS, ABP, TCP Architecture, TCP Opportunity Brief) to drive oversight and accountability amongst IB leadership
  • Align agenda and collaborate on deployment with the Global Marketing Capabilities team, and ensure ongoing tracking of deployments within the global tracker.
  • Ensure full utilization and understanding of latest global tools (e.g. Ada Amplify+), frameworks (e.g. TCP KPI & Objectives framework), and templates (e.g. new BGS template) across the full growth planning process
  • Consult global marketing capabilities team on future priorities and areas of focus to drive continued impact
  • Coordinate as needed with global MC&O comms team on communications plans to support capability and culture initiatives within IB and India teams

Creative Excellence Leadership

  • Serve as the Creative excellence champion for International Beverages & India with focus on:
  • Aligning and executing a holistic plan to elevate the creative capability within the IB and India teams with support from the global marketing capabilities team. Plan to include amplification of global Creative Spark townhalls/emails as well as any additional inspiration and learning opportunities for the IB and India teams
  • Coordinating execution of One PepsiCo Creative forums (Strategic Brand Week, Global Creative Council, Global Creative Advisory) partnering with the global creative capabilities team and IB brand teams
  • Establishing protocol for Market Creative Reviews within IB and India
  • Owning the external Awards process to deliver a winning awards pipeline across priority awards including Cannes an Effies, supporting teams as needed with awards information and case study development
  • Driving and managing the BAM process for the IB and India teams: aligning campaign submissions and entries among IB and India brand and leadership teams, coordinating all BAM related communications across IB, and ensuring strict adherence to the timeline and process protocols.

Growth Navigator Deployment Support

  • Collaborate with IB Sr. Director for GN roll out across IB in line with ExComm:
  • Embed scorecards, develop and deliver core enhancements as needed
  • Embedding GN through OU Growth planning processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years working experience related to Marketing
  • Strong leadership, organizational savvy and high learning agility
  • Strong timeline and project management capability.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships, including senior leader stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of PepsiCo Marketing organization and previous brand management experience preferred with critical experience in creative development, planning, and awards preferred
  • Experience with Learning and Development, training content development and center of excellence experience is an advantage.
