Job Title : Associate Director / Director - Crosslinkers

Purpose of the position :

  • Responsible for fulfillment and implementation of strategic, financial, qualitative target of the BL in the region, also actively plan strategically and achieve profitable growth in Indian sub-continent.
  • The function promotes actively the sale of product within the BL, also as marketing for business of Epoxy Curing Agent (ECA) in the Indian sub-continent (India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka)
  • The function ensures the implementation of all sales related processes in order to fulfill the tasks of sales defined in the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) as part of the Quality Management of the BL CL and all KPI achievement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Promote actively the sale of CL product portfolio within the BL CL to a broad range of industries in CL to contribute to the achievement of long-term profit, sales & MCM growth targets according to the Business Line strategy
  • Responsible to achieve top down targets & initiatives in close cooperation with the functional supervisor.
  • Implementation and responsible of the NWC Management (KPIs related to payment term, inventory, AR and overdue management to reduce NWC)
  • Responsible for optimum distribution and channel management
  • Align with global/regional PL, develop overview on market and intelligence, define growth plan for India for BL CL business.
  • For ECA business, set price guideline to sales, constant price hygiene analysis to pursue margin increase (ECA)
  • Active identification/monitor/realization of new opportunities
  • Ensure proper sales planning (short term / demand planning) and forecasting (rolling forecast) in close cooperation with the functional supervisor, Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
  • Responsible for market data management & competitive intelligence including the documentation with activity reports, opportunity & risk management, market data maintenance for the sub region.
  • Responsible for direct negotiation & management of supply agreements in the respective business line within the price management process
  • Responsible to support the regional head for the monthly IBP sign off, if applicable for the business.
  • Conducting and supporting I2P projects and new product launch process in cooperation with Marketing and Applied Technology), follow-up on samples provided to customers and report on findings and results
  • Active participation on the product & service complaint process.
  • Determining, analyzing and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting the Management of Change process.
  • Implementation of all sales related activities and processes to ensure the process (inquiry) offer to cash and planning to production
  • Ensure the achievement all Quality & Safety related targets within the Sales Department based on the BL business rules Standard Operational Procedures
  • Integral Part of the respective Business Line Sales Team.

Education & Experience required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with good knowledge of chemistry (mandatory).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • 810 years of experience in coatings, inks, and/or PU, epoxy curing-related applications.
  • Proven track record in functions such as Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and Technical Development.

IT And Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in relevant IT tools and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and analytical tools like Power BI (preferred).
