About the Job:
As part of the AT&T Governance Enforcement, Assessment and Testing, Third Party Risk, and Emerging Technology Cyber Organization (GATE), you will support the Emerging Technology Team by leading a team to design and implement security protocols to safeguard Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems from malicious actors. Develop tools and processes to analyze and mitigate AI security-related threats and vulnerabilities and implement strategies to defend AI systems against cyber-attacks. Research and evaluate emerging AI security technologies for effectiveness. Audit AI systems for security risks and ensure compliance and consult with stakeholders to ensure the secure deployment of AI systems. The Leader in this role will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 10+ experienced professionals in AT&T India. The leader in this role oversees, manages and supports day-to-day operations, including various projects, tasks and initiatives. Continuously collaborates with US and India Cyber Security leadership teams and other stakeholders on engineering and operational matters.

Good to have AI knowledge / experience:
1. Familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).
2. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot for Security, Darktrace, CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, or custom LLM integrations) to enhance detection, response, and automation workflows.
3. Understanding of LLM safety, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.
4. Exposure to data science fundamentals relevant to security (pattern recognition, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model validation).
5. Awareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.
6. Interest in leveraging GenAI for security operations, such as summarizing alerts, drafting reports, or automating incident triage.
