The Communications Lead will be responsible for shaping, executing, and managing PepsiCo India's communications strategy across internal, external, and digital platforms. This role is critical in building and protecting PepsiCo's reputation, driving employee engagement, and strengthening the company's presence with stakeholders, media, consumers, and communities.
Internal Communications
. Develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage, inform, and inspire employees across PepsiCo India BU.
. Partner with leadership teams to design and deliver campaigns that align with culture, values, and business priorities.
. Manage internal channels to drive consistent messaging.
. Support leadership communications, including speeches, presentations, and employee engagement initiatives.
External Communications
. Lead media relations strategy, building strong relationships with key journalists and opinion leaders.
. Develop and execute proactive and reactive PR strategies that enhance PepsiCo India's reputation.
. Manage crisis communications and ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders.
. Support brand PR campaigns, product launches, and thought-leadership positioning of PepsiCo India executives.
Digital & Social Media Communications
. Drive PepsiCo India's digital communications strategy across corporate social media channels.
. Create engaging, impactful content tailored to various platforms
. Monitor online sentiment and manage reputation through timely and effective responses.
. Partner with global digital teams to ensure alignment with broader PepsiCo digital priorities.
Stakeholder & Corporate Affairs Support
. Partner with Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, and Sustainability teams to communicate impact stories, CSR initiatives, and purpose-driven campaigns.
. Ensure alignment of all communications with PepsiCo's global purpose and India BU business strategy.
. 18+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, PR, or digital communications (FMCG/consumer industry experience preferred).
. Strong media relations network and experience handling high-profile communications.
. Proven expertise in crisis and issues management.
. Ability to develop creative campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
. Experience in leading cross-functional communication projects in a complex matrix environment.
