Associate Director - Cloud Solutions

We are seeking an Associate Director - Cloud Solutions to lead and manage a team of engineers, translating business requirements into robust cloud-based technical solutions. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong expertise in AWS, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
• Develop, implement, and maintain configurations of underlying cloud services, including but not limited to AWS, EC2, EKS, S3, and RDS.
• Administer existing and deploy new AWS instances and related infrastructure.
• Work closely with non-tech teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage a team of 8-10 engineers in India and potentially in other regions like Asia and the Philippines.

Skills Required

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Cloud architecture.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud governance, strategy development, and optimization.
• Relevant certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Practitioner).
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Terraform).
• Technical expertise in cloud migrations, specifically application migrations to AWS.
• Experience with automation, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong leadership skills to manage partners in Asia and work with counterparts in Canada.
• The ability to influence and negotiate technical solutions and ideas effectively.
