Colliers is looking for a seasoned real estate professional to lead the origination, structuring, and execution of high-impact transactions across the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will advise developers and investors on fundraising, land and asset acquisitions, divestments, and strategic financial solutions across the real estate business cycle. The role involves deep market engagement, strong client relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Engage with real estate developers and investors to understand their business strategies, expansion plans, and capital requirements.
  • Advise clients on strategic solutions, including:
  • Fundraising across various structures
  • Acquisition of land parcels and completed assets
  • Divestment of land and income-generating assets
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.

Deal Origination & Execution

  • Originate transactions including:
  • Land acquisition
  • Project fundraising / capital raising
  • Investment sales
  • Structured real estate deals
  • Secure mandates and lead end-to-end transaction execution.
  • Drive timely deal closure and ensure collection of advisory fees.

Research, Analysis & Documentation

  • Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses, thematic studies, and opportunity assessments.
  • Prepare company profiles, portfolio analyses, benchmarking reports, and market comparable studies.
  • Develop pitch books, information memorandums, and investor-facing documents.
  • Execute capital structure and liquidity analyses.
  • Build and manage financial models including cash flow projections, DCF valuations, LBO analyses, and M&A models.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Manage the full lifecycle of real estate investment banking mandates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams in research, finance, legal, and business development for seamless execution.
  • Conduct site visits, participate in investor interactions, and maintain updated transaction and market databases.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and trends.
  • Expertise in:
    • Market and industry analysis
    • Capital structure and liquidity assessment
    • Financial modelling (DCF, LBO, M&A)
    • Pitch book and IM preparation
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and the ability to manage complex, structured deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and solution-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • CA / MBA or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proven track record of 10-15 years in land acquisition, fundraising, and real estate transaction advisory.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling structured deals and negotiations.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate market trends, regulatory frameworks, and investment landscapes.
