Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Associate Director of Business Development to lead our new business acquisition strategy for the Western Region. In this role, you will be the face of Sokrati, responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing high-value partnerships with marquee brands.

You will specifically target growth-oriented businesses in the D2C, Fashion E-commerce, Automobile, and BFSI sectors. You should possess a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and have a proven track record of selling complex agency solutions to C-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

* Own the end-to-end sales cycle for the Western region, from prospecting to closure.

* Identify and secure mandates from top-tier brands in D2C, Fashion, Auto, and BFSI sectors.

* Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through aggressive hunting and consultative selling.

Strategic Pitching & Solutioning

* Lead pitch presentations, responding to RFPs with tailored digital strategies that showcase Sokrati's expertise in performance marketing and analytics.

* Collaborate with internal strategy, media planning, and creative teams to build compelling, data-backed proposals.

* Translate complex client business challenges into actionable digital marketing solutions (SEO, SEM, Social, Programmatic, and Analytics).

Market Intelligence & Networking

* Build and maintain strong relationships with CMOs, Marketing Heads, and Brand Managers in the West India market.

* Stay ahead of industry trends, specifically how performance marketing impacts the P&L of D2C and Fintech businesses.

* Represent Sokrati at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build a robust pipeline.

Who are we looking for

Experience & Expertise

* Experience: 4-8 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 3 years in a digital agency, ad-tech, or media sales environment.

* Sector Knowledge: Proven network and success specifically within the D2C, Fashion E-commerce, or BFSI sectors in Western India.

* Digital Fluency: Strong grasp of the digital ecosystem (Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic, GA4, Martech stacks) and the ability to discuss ROAS, CAC, and LTV with confidence.

* Hunter Mindset: You thrive on chasing new leads and closing deals rather than just farming existing accounts.

* Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills; you can command a room of senior stakeholders.
