Associate Director (Agrochemicals)

Job Overview

The role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Agrochemicals business, spearheading P&L management, strategic growth initiatives, and market expansion efforts. This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate complex market dynamics, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and achieve financial and strategic objectives. This role will directly report to the founders.

Requirements

  • B.Tech from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes from India; MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes is a plus.
  • Prior experience of working in the B2B commerce industry or scaled B2B startups.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L and achieving business targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable business strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of the business, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met or exceeded.
  • Strategy Development: Formulate and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability in the domestic agrochemicals market.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D to align product offerings with market needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Onboard & align internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals and drive things

  • Achieving Financial Targets: Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability goals for the domestic agrochemicals segment, contributing to the overall growth of Atomgrid.
  • Market Expansion: Successfully identifying and penetrating new markets or regions, leading to increased market share and brand recognition in the agrochemical sector.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Building strong, enduring relationships with key clients and distributors, resulting in high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Development: Fostering a motivated, high-performing team that collaborates effectively and achieves organizational objectives.
