How will you make an impact in this role

Role and Function Description:

The Colleague Services (CS) organization within the Colleague Experience Group (also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a critical role in providing the best-in-class services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. The organization builds and evolves essential products and services to enable the Colleague Experience Group (CEG) and the business. The CS organization manages the ecosystem of CEG products, processes, platforms, applications, third party partners, colleague insights and reporting, and colleague-related risk, compliance, and governance.

The successful candidate willbe responsible fortesting related activities across the Oracle Fusion HCM Platform, including capabilities thatenablethe core HR, payroll, and benefit experiences. The team member willbe responsible forcoordinating all testing activities on change requests, new product initiatives, enhancements involving EndtoEnd data flow validations.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Understanding business requirements andcreating test scenarios, planning test cycles, placements and executing toachieve (User Acceptance Testing)UAT test results.
  • Accelerate the testing effectiveness bywriting/creating andutilization oftest automationsin testingasrequiredfor theapplications.
  • Defect Management - Review output files, understanding the field/value descriptions and follow-up with tech, in case of any discrepancies or issue resolutions.
  • Following up with key partners (up streams and down streams) on the transaction entered and provide guidance on UAT intent.
  • Validating downstream files with business/vendor and follow-up with tech, in case of any discrepancies or issue resolutionrequired.
  • Loading upstream files into HCM systems to confirm a successful load and working with Tech to mitigate any issues thatdonot meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams toidentifytesting requirements, prioritize tasks, highlightrisksand resolve issues withmitigationapproach.
  • Participation in regular business / process related calls and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Good knowledge ofOracle HCM platforms/functionalities and terminologies for usage in day-to-day work responsibilitieslikeMyInfo(HCM), Payroll platforms (Dayforce, Global View) and terminologies for usage in day-to-day work responsibilities.
  • Good communicationand collaboration skills to partner across the forum of business, technology, and various other servicing groups.
  • Flexible to work in multiple timezonesor at least overlapping EST timezonedue to key partner presence.
  • Clear understanding of the payroll process flows and how data flows from HR systems to Payroll Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working Experience of Recruit module is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS applications, Planner, Airtable, Rally and other cloud-based storage applicationsis an added advantage.
