How will you make an impact in this role

Collectively, we look to ensure quality for both our American Express Customers and our internal partners throughout the Global Services Group family. We are looking for detail oriented, Customer focused, out-of-the-box thinkers with an automation mind-set to develop and test the customer journeys and are not afraid to raise the red flag on behalf of our Customers.

Role Description

  • Planning User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities that impact front-end, user-focused applications. This includes assessing the testing needs, determining the proper test configuration and data needs, writing and executing test conditions and test scripts, recommending opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, and ensuring the completion of required test documents
  • Product testing (UAT), automation development & testing.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of automation use cases and case workflows that drive colleague and customer efficiency.
  • Tracking and monitoring defects that arise during UAT and seeing them through to resolution
  • Preparing all testing-related documentation
  • Monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing status reports, recommending actions and escalating appropriately
  • Forging strong relationships with various internal business partners, technical partners and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product testing (UAT), automation development & testing
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Rally & Confluence
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good understanding of Card product customer journeys (specially Case Management & Complaint Management)
  • Experience with case management platforms (e.g., Pega) or workflow automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across business and technology teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle
  • Must have, good hands-on experience in manual UI, API Testing
  • Must have, hands on experience in Selenium, Java, and TestNG
  • Must have, ability to write Java logic (OOPs concepts, Conditions, loops, collections)
  • Hands-on-with TestNG, Maven and GIT operations
  • Must have, understanding of automation framework
  • Willingness to learn new technologies as per market trends
  • Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
  • Perform cross browser testing and regression testing.
  • Hands on experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
