About the Role

The Associate Debt Manager-Flows-Loan against Property is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the activities of the collections department. This includes managing agencies associated with the company within the assigned territory. The role focuses on optimizing EMI recovery from customers while ensuring adherence to bank guidelines, thereby contributing to the broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and undertake the collections process for assigned debts.
  • He will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and the Code of Conduct and will be accountable for addressing audit-related requirements.
  • Regularly track the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
  • Monitor and control delinquency bucket-wise and DPD-wise, with a focus on non-starters.
  • Allocate and achieve targets through agencies and in-house teams.
  • Follow up regularly with defaulting customers.
  • Ensure adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
  • Trace absconded default customers and initiate recovery procedures.
  • Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and follow up with the legal team for closure.
  • Maintain administrative data related to collections, including delinquent account history and MIS reports.
  • Review collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and drive operational effectiveness.

  • Proficiency in maintaining MIS and administrative records.
  • Team management and leadership capabilities.
