Description

We are looking for an Associate - Data Centre Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in India to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our data center infrastructure and ensuring its availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment, including servers, network switches, and storage devices
Monitor data center performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
Assist in the design and implementation of data center infrastructure upgrades and improvements
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of all data center systems
Maintain accurate documentation of data center equipment and procedures
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for the data center

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in data center operations and maintenance
Experience with server hardware, networking equipment, and storage devices
Proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
Familiarity with ITIL processes and procedures
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed
